The reason is Geocaching! Geocaching is one of the newest family oriented hobbies where participants
utilize GPS units and coordinates supplied by the www.geocaching.com website to hunt for hidden
caches. Some are easy some are hard, but it's
always a lot of fun.

What do the caches hold? At the very least they contain a log sheet where visitors can log their visit. Some also contain trinkets which are meant to be "exchanged" with other trinkets each visitor brings.
Getting started is easy, all you need is a GPS and coordinates from the www.Geocaching.com website for your area, and your ready to go hunting.
Once people have found a few caches, the bug to plant their own cache usually hits them.
